Instructional Technology in Science Education
The use of technology in education has grown dramatically in the last decade. Teachers now have the ability to integrate high quality video, animation, and active learning technologies into their lessons. The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) Definitions and Terminology Committee defines intstructional technology as "the theory and practice of design, development, utilization, management, and evaluation of processes and resources for learning." This webquest investigates some of the resources, technologies, and research that is available to both teachers and students to help them when creating high quality multimedia presentations and active learning lessons.
